Consultancy Opportunity: Jewish Culture Month Evaluation and Business Development

Jewish Culture Month

The Board of Deputies of British Jews is seeking an experienced consultant or consultancy team to support the next phase of development for Jewish Culture Month.

Jewish Culture Month is a nationwide celebration of Jewish culture, community and creativity. Its inaugural programme, held in May and June 2026, featured more than 150 events delivered by cultural institutions, Jewish communities and other partners across the UK.

With support from Arts Council England, we are now seeking consultancy expertise to help establish Jewish Culture Month as a sustainable and integral part of Britain’s cultural calendar.

The appointed consultant will work with the project team and key stakeholders to:

  • develop an improved impact and evaluation framework for Jewish Culture Month 2027;
  • recommend suitable and robust evaluation methods;
  • ensure the framework is compatible with Arts Council England and other funder requirements;
  • review the existing business model, budgets and planning tools; and
  • produce recommendations and a sustainable business plan for the future development of the programme.

The available budget for this work is £6,000–£8,000. The consultancy is expected to begin in August 2026 and conclude in December 2026.

Applicants should provide details of their relevant experience, proposed methodology, fee breakdown, project schedule and two references or relevant case studies.

The deadline for proposals is Thursday 16 July 2026. Interviews will take place during the week commencing 20 July 2026.

Please send proposals to Liat Rosenthal at liat.rosenthal@bod.org.uk.
