This inspiring evening will highlight the outstanding contributions the Leeds Jewish community has made to the city’s cultural, civic, and creative life – past and present. From music and literature to food, fashion, and innovation, Jewish life has played a vital role in shaping the story of Leeds.
The event forms part of Leeds 400, the year-long programme marking 400 years since the city was first granted its charter. As part of the launch, guests will also enjoy an exclusive preview of the “100 Jewish Things of Leeds” – a captivating new collection that showcases the people, places, and traditions that have left their mark on the city. Expect warmth, pride, and plenty of inspiration in the beautiful setting of the Civic Hall.
