Ways to mark Jewish Culture Month in your school
Next week we will be publishing a comprehensive resource hub of information and suggested resources specifically for teachers and educators. Discover historical info through to Jewish culture, identity and practice, via videos, podcasts, websites and book suggestions.
Want to learn about the richness of Jewish life in a hands-on way? Why not visit (or possibly even host) the Jewish Living Experience Exhibition?
Secondary schools are encouraged to explore ‘Jewish Living Online’, which is our FREE digital resource through which you can learn about Jewish beliefs, practice, identity and culture, either as a class or individually. Already in use in over 90 secondary schools in England & Wales, and soon to be available in Welsh and Scottish editions.
Arrange a workshop for your students without leaving your school with Jewish Film UK, Outreach Workshops – The Jewish Museum London or Virtual Classrooms – The Jewish Museum London.
Share details from our events programme with your school community. There are some fabulous family events taking place as part of Jewish Culture Month and some incredible cultural organisations are taking part.
And don’t forget – you can share your participation in Jewish Culture Month online by tagging @jewishculturemonth and following us on Instagram and Facebook.
